What To Expect
If this is your first service at GraceWalk Church you might be wondering what to expect. Hopefully this page will answer some of your questions.
What you can expect at GraceWalk Church is to be greeted with a smile and a handshake. You can meet and speak with the Pastor.
We have a praise and worship time with the family together. During praise and worship you are invited to stand and sing, clap or raise your hands, dance, kneel, or shout "praise the Lord". You can expect a variety of music. We sing old hymns & choruses and new songs that you heard this week on Christian radio. Don't be afraid that your voice isn't good enough. Psa 66:1 tells us to "Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands: Psa 66:2 Sing forth the honor of his name: make his praise glorious." So whether you sing like a bird or croak like a frog, God says it's ok to sing.
We are building up our Praise Team and will have many vocalists along with piano, lead guitar, bass guitar, drums and many other types of instruments as the Lord brings the musicians to play them. If you have a desire to sing or play for the Lord Jesus, we have room so let's get started by coming to church.
There is a children's area available for the little ones who have a need such as diaper change, need to fed or maybe a just a little squirmy and need to move.
You can expect to hear anointed preaching and teaching from God's Holy Word, The Bible. The teachings are relevant for today's real world issues with answers that come from The Bible. Teachings on faith, family, marriage, escatolgy (end times), the covenants of God, healing, dispensations, parables, prosperity and just learning how to live this life that God gave us the way that He wants us live it.
You can expect that we will pray for people; the Church; and our great nation.
You can expect to see and hear the moving of the Holy Spirit as they did in the book of Acts. Speaking in tongues and interpretation are two of the nine manifestations of the Spirit that God gave us for our benefit. We also pray for people; laying hands on the sick and they shall recover (Mark 16;18). Basically we believe in allowing God to have His way in our service while keeping in mind that 1Co 14:40 tells us "Let all things be done decently and in order."
